Downtown Studio FIT is a unique Albany-based Fitness and Wellness Studio which provides a wide variety of daily group exercise classes along with the opportunity for individualized training and nutrition coaching services, at an affordable rate!
Our Group Ex classes range from low to high intensity. All formats can be modified for all fitness levels. The smaller studio size provides an opportunity for more personalized instruction. This is a benefit and will help instructors work with clients form and weight selection which will minimize the risk of injury.
Our individualized Fitness Coaching program provides education and support to our clients in hopes to help them successfully meet and maintain their personal goals. With our help, clients will then posses the skills and knowledge to independently maintain their healthy lifestyle.

Barre Fusion is designed to give students of all fitness levels a challenging total body workout. By combining aspects of yoga, Pilates, barre fitness and classic strength training, Barre Fusion incorporates strength, endurance and flexibility into one invigorating workout. Barre Fusion will help you achieve a balanced body and a quiet mind in less than an hour! All classes are the same level as the technique was designed to work for people at all points of their fitness journey. Weights are occasionally used but not required. Maximum of 2lb - 3lb weights is recommended.

Yoga is for everyBODY regardless of shape, size or flexibility. It is a class which focuses on uniting mind, body and spirit by focusing on the breath and linking it with movement. Classes usually include a warm up, some flow, strength and balance, deeper stretches, breathing techniques and a brief meditation at the end. Classes will vary depending on the instructor and will be modified to meet students’ needs.

With a high-intensity level and a broad range of movements, FIT Strength will sculpt your figure and improve your balance, coordination, endurance and agility. Having a toned physique is more than what’s on the outside, strong muscles help you function in your every day routine, from improving your posture to increasing your resistance to injury.
FIT Strength incorporates strength training, core synergistics, balance techniques, agility training and cardiovascular interval training into one workout. You’ll also push through bodyweight exercises and use hand weights, kettle bells, medicine balls and other tools to increase resistance amount and variety. Such variety is what will improve your cardiovascular performance, burn more calories and chisel your muscles into the form you’ve always wanted.
Rebounding is a type of aerobic exercise that is performed while jumping on a mini-trampoline. Jumps can be fast or slow, and can be mixed with rest or aerobic stepping.
